Yolo Y. Tang is a final-year Ph.D. candidate at the University of Rochester (UR), advised by Prof. Chenliang Xu, working on LMMs/Agents × Video Understanding. She earned her M.S. from UR in 2025 en route to her Ph.D. and received her B.Eng. from SUSTech in 2023. Yolo has interned at Amazon, ByteDance, and Tencent.
Yolo is drawing for fun, self-teaching and not open to paid commissions or commercial collaborations. She is also really into J-pop and cosplay — maybe she’s just cosplaying as a researcher :)
Yolo has been a cat for days. Please don’t deadname or misgender Yolo. She prefers Yolo (in English) or 芸珑 (in Mandarin). She also prefers 夜 (“night” in Japanese), since Sonta pronounces Yolo like /ˈjoʊ lu/, close to よる.
